Prelude

Milestone birthdays call for an epic celebration and Miles’ 60th certainly delivered. This celebration blended modern design, elevated cuisine, and surprise appearances into a night that felt both intimate and unforgettable.
Guests were treated to a thoughtfully curated al fresco dining experience by Matthew Peters, the celebrated chef and Bocuse d’Or winner. Each dish felt intentional and refined yet approachable, perfectly suited for a milestone celebration.
The decorations for Miles’ birthday included a bold, graphic dance floor on the lawn framed by lounge seating and cocktail tables dressed in copper toned linens with various floral arrangements of lush, organic softness and neutral blooms with subtle pops of color by David Kurio Designs. Overhead, strands of festoon lights created a soft canopy, while the surrounding greenery and skyline gave the evening a quintessential Austin charm.
During the festivities, The University of Texas Cheerleaders, brought out a showstopping birthday cake inspired by the iconic UT Tower while The Spazmatics band sang to Miles.
Just when guests thought the night couldn’t get more lively, a special performance by the UT Cheerleaders brought a burst of school spirit, delighting the crowd and adding a playful, unexpected twist. A nod to Miles’ connection to Austin and the University of Texas.
As the evening progressed, the dance floor was filled thanks to a high energy set from The Spazmatics. Their nostalgic hits had guests on their feet, celebrating under the stars.
Miles’ 60th was a beautifully orchestrated experience. From the curated culinary journey to the personalized touches and joyful surprises, every element honored not just a milestone, but a life well lived.
XOXO
