Madison & Aaron were such a joy to work with! They knew from the very beginning that the overall experience for their guests was a top priority when it came to their wedding day, so we kept that in mind throughout the entire planning process. In fact, you’ll notice their personal touch with the custom seating chart which included hand picked photos of each guest/couple, and Jen Krause turned them into polaroid style photos that directed everyone to their dinner table.

Another aspect of the wedding day that was important to Madison & Aaron, and contributed to that overall guest experience, was the design. It’s funny to think back on our planning process, because we originally designed their wedding to be a classic black and white wedding, but over the months of planning, they decided that a colorful wedding was much more their style and personality! We had the best time transitioning to bright spring colors. As seen in the photos below, most of the color was brought in through the beautiful floral arrangements from Remi & Gold, but we also brought color in through our table linens. The color blocked green linens at the reception were the perfect, unique touch, and really helped to bring out the bold florals.
One of my favorite design elements from this wedding was the way in which Madison & Aaron included their fur baby, Billie! The immediate one to notice is on the envelope liner of our invitation suite, but we had to bring Billie to the reception in some way, so Madison bought the cutest figurine of Billie that sat in the garden of flowers around the wedding cake. It was such a conversation topic when the guests found their fur baby by the cake!
Mason with Dart Collective kept the party going all night long! With today’s hits and the best throwbacks, we had a packed dance floor all night. It definitely didn’t hurt that Madison and Aaron were out dancing with their friends the whole night, too!
Madison & Aaron were one of those couples that radiate as being each other’s best friend. They dated in college and eventually found their way back to each other when they both moved to Austin – literally ran into each other while out with friends, and the rest is history! As a couple they are fun, easygoing, friends to all, and so caring. I know I speak for our whole vendor team when I say that they were such a joy to work with and be around on their special day. Their love for each other radiated and is evident in their photos. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to plan and design with them – Cheers to The Tipsord’s!!
XOXO,
Tessa
