Woodbine Mansion

2.5.22

Kiko was an absolute dream to work with! I will never forget her vision for a classic and modern take on a garden wedding! The ability to bring it to life with her was something I will cherish forever. The week leading up to the wedding we experienced another Texas freeze, however that didn’t dampen Kiko and Mitchell’s excitement for the wedding week. Instead, it enhanced the mansion’s winter ambiance and gave the air a crisp, fresh, and awakening mood!

Kiko started her day getting ready in the beautiful Woodbine bridal wing. Surrounded by her 17 closest friends, they had the chicest morning getting ready in such a timeless space. Mitchell soon after arrived with his 22 groomsmen and the group was prepared to get this couple married! Their ceremony was under the Woodbine trellis wrapped in beautiful baby’s breath. After heartfelt vows and many tears, the couple finalized their marriage with a magical kiss and the grand introduction of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Taniguchi!

The guests migrated to the East lawn of the mansion grounds into a clear top tent meticulously detailed with baby’s breath, wicker lanterns, and a pristine white dance floor. The head table was lined with a lush floral runner that enhanced the dining experience for guests. The clear top of the tent matched the vibrant performance from the band making the evening feel elevated and exquisite! As the sun set, the warm glow from the string lights and candles made the night more romantic. There was not an empty spot on the dance floor, guests adored each performance from the band. For their late night sack, pizza was passed, and not just individual slices. We are talking a Dominos pizza box for every group of guests! It was iconic.

The lovely couple partied and celebrated with their closest family and friends. The whole day was out of a fairytale and we are so happy that we got the chance to bring y’all’s vision to life!
