Getting to work with Katherine and Daniel was such a joy—along with Mary, Katherine’s mom, who brought so much warmth and excitement to the entire planning process. They had a beautiful green and palm-forward floral vision, and Horseshoe Bay Resort was truly the perfect backdrop to bring it all to life.

Their invitations were the perfect preview of the elevated tropical design guests would experience on the wedding day. Anastasia Strate styled a stunning flat lay that captured the invitation suite and overall wedding aesthetic so beautifully—and went on to document the entire wedding day with the same effortless eye.

Katherine and Daniel’s wedding day brought the most perfect Texas May weather. They were married lakeside, surrounded by their family, friends, and lush florals by Bouquets of Austin. After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Palm Pavilion, where they were first greeted by a stunning seating chart from The Essential Market. The center of the pavilion was filled with abundant palm arrangements and vibrant floral centerpieces, paired with beautiful tabletop rentals from Premier Events. And we can’t forget the statement X-shaped head table.

As dinner got underway, guests settled into the magic of the evening—but things got even more exciting when the Horseshoe Bay parrots made their grand entrance and stole the show. From there, the dance floor stayed completely packed all night, surrounded by beautifully curated lounge pieces from Bee Lavish Rentals that gave the space such a chic, cohesive feel.

As the night came to a close, Katherine and Daniel didn’t just have one send-off moment—they had two. The cold spark send-off by Big Dog Pyro was a complete surprise for Daniel and an absolutely unforgettable moment for everyone in attendance.
