Villa Antonia

09/27/2023

Blake and Chandler embarked on a wedding planning journey at Villa Antonia that would capture the essence of their profound commitment to each other and their faith. The vibrant hues chosen for their special day mirrored the warmth of the season the radiant love that was evident in every moment I spent with them.

Their engagement in the spring laid the foundation for a whirlwind of preparations that culminated in a splendid fall wedding later that same year. This short but exhilarating planning period bore testament to the couple’s eagerness to unite in matrimony, creating a buzz of excitement and anticipation that added an extra layer of magic to the entire celebration. We aimed to orchestrate a wedding that seamlessly blended tradition with modern elements, infusing every detail with the same love and devotion that marked their relationship.

At the heart of Blake and Chandler’s partnership lies a profound devotion to God, a cornerstone that has fueled their growth together. Chandler’s trust in the planning process allowed us to craft a wedding day that was a true reflection of their love. Working directly with Chandler was an absolute pleasure; her sweet demeanor and enthusiasm made the planning process a delightful experience.

The couple’s vision for their wedding was brought to life through a bright and cheerful color scheme that came together through gorgeous flowers, customized stationary, a hand-crafted flower wall, and all of the beautiful rentals that created the tablescapes. Chandler and Blake incorporated a personal touch by using the Bowen emblem, a symbol connecting to Blake’s heritage. This emblem found its way onto invitations by Pink Champagne Designs, an ice sculpture by Full Spectrum Ice, the cake by Sweet Treets Bakery, and even into a mesmerizing drone show by Sky Elements – a first for Pearl Events! The drone show, featuring 200 synchronized drones, was a breathtaking display customized to showcase Blake and Chandler’s unique personalities. It was a magical moment that perfectly complemented the overall theme of their wedding, showcasing their love and interests in a visually stunning way.

The ceremony itself was a testament to their faith, with the inclusion of a feet-washing ritual – a beautiful symbol of humility and service. A harpist performed curated songs for the couple as guests entered the ceremony space to a display of flowers by David Kurio.

As guests stepped into the reception area, they were greeted with exquisite floral arrangements, while finding their seats for a delicious full-course meal by Crave Catering. The evening was filled with touching toasts from the parents, best man, and maid of honor. Everyone transitioned into the chapel for a romantic first dance to the tune of “Love Like This” by Ben Rector. Afterward, everyone joined the couple on the dancefloor as ATX DJ played all the couple’s favorite songs! As the night progressed, guests were treated to late-night churros served in mini boxes with the couple’s crest – a sweet and memorable indulgence.

The couple ended their night with a private last dance before a spectacular send-off in the butterfly garden. They walked through sparkling fountains of cold sparks by Big Dog Pyro and then were surrounded by petals tossed by joyful guests, as they made their way to the Rolls Royce getaway car, marking the conclusion of a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

In every aspect, Blake and Chandler’s wedding was a reflection of their romance – a celebration of faith, devotion, and the joy found in the company of loved ones. As their wedding planner, it was an honor to be part of such a special day, and I wish Blake and Chandler a lifetime of happiness as they continue their journey together.

XOXO,

Betsy
