Woodbine Mansion

12.3.22

Alayna and Spencer’s winter wedding at Woodbine Mansion on December 3rd, 2022, was a truly enchanting affair that captured the essence of timeless charm and modern elegance. A theme of “winter blues” and “magnolia browns” was beautifully woven into every aspect of the event, creating a stunning atmosphere that celebrated tradition with a touch of contemporary flair.

The venue, Woodbine Mansion, provided the perfect backdrop for this romantic celebration. The custom-made ceiling, draping panels, and the white and blue checkered dance floor from Mikes Dance Floors added a touch of sophistication to the tent area. The abundant floral arrangements by Bouquets of Austin adorned every corner, bringing the winter ivories and magnolia browns to life.

Alayna’s admiration for the bridal suite wallpaper at Woodbine Mansion made its way into the wedding invitations and day-of stationery, weaving a consistent thread throughout the celebration.

The wedding day timeline unfolded seamlessly, starting with vendors setting up early in the day. Alayna and her bridesmaids began their preparations, with the gentlemen arriving shortly after. The black-tie formal dress code set the tone for an evening of elegance and glamour, as guests arrived in their finest attire. A heartfelt ceremony paved the way for an exquisite cocktail hour within the mansion. Signature drinks and an oyster bar indulged the guests’ senses, leading them to the breathtakingly adorned tent for dinner and dancing. Just before the guests entered the tent, there was a special first reveal of the setup for Alayna and Spencer, resulting in heartfelt and speechless reactions that left an indelible mark.

The dance floor remained alive with energy throughout the evening, courtesy of the dynamic performance by Love and Happiness. The night reached its crescendo with the classic petal sendoff as Alayna and Spencer bid farewell to their loved ones. One of my favorite special touches to the day was when Alyana fashioned her mom’s wedding veil in her send-off. Their departure in a beautiful blue Rolls Royce provided a picture-perfect ending to a day that truly captured the essence of winter romance and timeless charm.

XOXO,

Maddy
