Woodbine Mansion

3.27.22

The sun was shining all day for Zoe and Brett’s beautiful spring Woodbine Mansion wedding!
They met at school and dated for about three years before getting engaged on the 4th of July on the beach in New Hampshire…how romantic! Zoe and Brett both live in Denver and planned their special day from afar. When it came time to pick a venue, the couple was sold on Woodbine the second that they saw it online. The bride’s parents went to tour the mansion soon after and immediately knew that it was the perfect place for their daughter and future son-in-law to tie the knot.
One of the most important design aspects to the couple was to ensure that everything looked cohesive and fit the charming Woodbine aesthetic. They wanted to play into the scenery of towering trees and sprawling nature that is all around, while also keeping things clean and elegant just like the mansion! The design ended up being the perfect balance of spring colors and neutrals to fit the venue.
Zoe and Brett knew that having an amazing band (Matchmaker) was a top priority because they wanted their wedding to feel like a big party for friends and family. I also have to mention one of my favorite touches, their Sweet Treets ombre cake with huge white flowers for decoration. I love when couples do something that is “out of the ordinary” and unique, and having a colorful ombre cake is the perfect example of this. Stunning florals from Pollen Floral Art really stole the show at the reception with a grand dance floor floral chandelier, lush head table runner, and the bride’s vibrant bouquet.
The newlyweds were truly enamored by each other all night and had such a fun time celebrating their future with close friends and family. At the end of the night, instead of doing a formal send off, we invited all guests into the mansion for an after party where a DJ was waiting! Pro tip: this is the perfect time to play those songs that you might not want grandma to hear. All in all, it was such a memorable wedding for an amazing couple!
XOXO,
Tessa
