Getting to plan Tara and Mitchell’s wedding day was so special. From the beginning Tara and her mom Carol envisioned an elegant and romantic white and pink wedding. The wedding day went above and beyond that vision.

Tara spent the morning getting ready in Canyonwood’s beautiful bridal suite with her bridesmaids. The girls wore pink floral pajamas, perfect for the wedding style, and Tara wore a fashionable pair of white feather pajamas. During getting ready Lacey & Lee Photography captured every detail, including the custom newspapers and invitation suite.

Before the ceremony, Tara shared two special first looks—one with her father, and one with her soon-to-be husband, Mitchell. Following their first looks, Lacey & Lee captured a meaningful photo with Tara, Mitchell, and Tara’s parents. A few months following the wedding Tara’s mom sadly passed. This moment and photo is something Tara, Mitchell, and family will be able to keep forever. I cherished getting to work with Carol in planning a perfect day for her daughter and Mitchell. Her love for her Tara was present in every detail.

Tara and Mitchell had a gorgeous ceremony in the Canyonwood Ridge chapel, surrounded by lush pink and white florals from Bouquets of Austin. The beautiful floral design carried into the reception, filling the room with a classic look. One of my favorite design pieces was the dinner place settings. This is something that Tara, Carol, and I collaborated closely on. With rentals from Premiere Events, the tables made a statement.

As the night carried on, guests filled the dance floor and the energy was undeniable—especially once the light-up cowboy hats made their debut! To end an unforgettable day, Tara and Mitchell made their grand exit in a vintage car from 4 Leaf Limo. I will always remember this special day. Cheers to Tara and Mitchell Landgrebe!
