Sarah and Carson’s summer wedding was a day full of love, laughter, and beautiful moments that reflected their vibrant personalities. Held at Westwood Country Club, their wedding was a perfect blend of elegance and fun, with stunning views of Lake Austin and a color scheme that added the perfect pop of brightness to an already magical setting.
The couple’s ceremony took place outside, overlooking the breathtaking waters of Lake Austin. Guests were surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, with lavish floral arrangements by David Kurio Designs framing the altar and guiding the way down the aisle. The color palette of white, blue, orange, green, and pink was woven throughout the florals, creating an airy yet lively atmosphere that was perfect for a summer celebration. A special touch was added with Sarah’s close friend, who was the talented harpist providing the melodic prelude and the romantic tunes for the procession. As Sarah walked down the aisle towards Carson, the music set the tone for what would be an unforgettable day.
After the ceremony, guests were invited to cocktail hour, where they were greeted with delicious hors d’oeuvres and specialty cocktails. With the tranquil lake as the backdrop, it was the perfect time for everyone to mingle and celebrate the newlyweds. A special groom’s lounge area was created for Carson and guests, complete with a bourbon bar, cigars, and a selection of TVs showing live football games. Under twinkling lights, this cozy retreat gave guests a space to relax and enjoy the evening.
As the evening continued, guests were escorted inside the country club for dinner and dancing. The room was decorated beautifully with a blend of floral accents, candles, and elegant touches that enhanced the natural beauty of the venue. Several bars were set up around the space, and the cocktails flowed freely, ensuring that everyone had a great time. The entertainment for the night was provided by Drywater Band, whose energetic performance had everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. The music, combined with the lively energy of the guests, kept the dance floor packed until the very end.
As the evening drew to a close, Sarah changed into an elegant two-piece outfit for the grand send-off. The newlyweds were showered with flower petals tossed over the balcony by their loved ones, creating a scene that was both intimate and full of joy. Under the moonlight, Sarah and Carson made their way to the family boat, ready to sail off into the night. Their wedding was truly a reflection of their love—warm, joyful, and filled with meaningful details that will be remembered by all who were lucky enough to be part of the celebration. From the lakeside ceremony to the grand send-off, every moment was thoughtfully curated to ensure Sarah and Carson had the perfect day. It was a wedding that brought together family and friends, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
