The Mansion

12/14/24

Rebecca and David’s wedding was a celebration deeply inspired by the bold style and vibrant energy of 1960s London, blending vintage charm with modern elegance. From the very beginning, the bride had a clear vision: a day full of unique, thoughtful details and constant entertainment that would surprise and delight her guests from start to finish. My role was to not only bring that vision to life but to refine and elevate it in ways that made the day unforgettable.

We began by designing custom stationery that reflected her playful yet sophisticated style. Every piece, from the invitations to the place cards, was carefully crafted to intrigue and excite guests before they even arrived. For the tables, we showcased a beautiful collection of vintage plates the bride had been gathering and thrifting for years. This personal touch gave each table its own character while still fitting seamlessly into the overall design.

Entertainment was a top priority. During dinner, we featured dueling pianos and played romantic movie clips in the background, creating an atmosphere that felt both lively and intimate. To make sure the energy never died, I introduced table captains at each table who were friends and family chosen to keep conversations flowing and guests engaged throughout the evening. The violinist, Josh Vietti , whom the bride had always dreamed of having at her wedding (even before she met her groom), performed during key moments of the day, adding another layer of personal meaning. The menu featured classic UK dishes, paying tribute to the British inspiration behind the event.

Every design decision was thoughtfully chosen to align with her vision while enhancing it, balancing nostalgic details with stylish modern elements. The end result was a day full of beauty, energy, and moments the couple and their guests will remember for years to come. A huge congratulations to Rebecca and David!

XOXO,

Betsy
