Hill Country Strong

When I first shared our message on TikTok and Instagram, my hope was simple: to reach grieving families impacted by the heartbreaking Hill Country flooding at Camp Mystic. In partnership with Whit Ross and Verve Events, we were able to reach more people than I ever imagined. One by one, vendors—florists, planners, DJs, photographers, and more—started reaching out, offering their time and services. Today, more than 240 generous vendors from Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio have stepped forward, ready to serve this community with love and dignity. We’ve also connected with 8 families (and counting) who are navigating unimaginable loss.

KXAN recently published an article highlighting our efforts to rebuild our community after this tragedy. We know the planning process can be overwhelming, and we want to eliminate that burden for these families by planning these celebrations of life and funeral services free of charge.

As mothers in the Austin community, we are deeply heartbroken and want to offer our support to the families the best way we know how.

Together, in the wake of tragedy, we hope to bridge the gap between families in need and the community of professionals who want to honor their lives with compassion. From behind-the-scenes planning to day-of coordination, we’re here to walk alongside these families as they honor their loved ones.

Thank you to all the vendors who reached out and are willing to volunteer their time and services. Thank you to everyone who promoted our social media posts and spread the word throughout Central Texas. If there is any way we can assist in planning or supporting your family during this difficult time, please do not hesitate to reach out.

XOXO,

Becky
