Grace and Zach’s wedding was truly an unforgettable event, where efficiency and passion for design blended seamlessly. Grace, an interior design and home organization expert, and I formed a dynamic team from the start. She allowed me to guide her in the right direction all while working together to create such a beautiful design. Our meetings were both enjoyable and productive, leading to a beautiful overall design that brought her vision to life on such a memorable day.
The day kicked off with all hands on deck as we orchestrated a quick and efficient installation. The venue transformed rapidly and seamlessly leaving everyone excited and amazed with how little time it took to create something so magical and memorable. Florals were something that helped bring Grace’s vision to life as we spent a lot of time deciding the perfect color scheme and arrangement style that embodied elegance and timelessness. As this was most important to Grace, Bouquets of Austin knocked it out of the park and grasped Grace’s vision from the get-go.
Grace and Zach brought me on to handle the rehearsal dinner as well, so it was a full weekend together which I loved. Dinner took place at the Eberly downtown, creating an even longer celebration full of joy and laughter together. This evening really set the tone for such a beautiful weekend, and as the festivities continued, so did the unforgettable moments.
One of the largest obstacles we encountered towards the end of the planning process was covering a neon sign that was just behind the altar. However, as they say, necessity is the mother of invention, and our creative solution of incorporating aisle gardens not only solved the problem but also became a favorite detail of Grace’s. It was a testament to how sometimes challenges lead to the most cherished aspects of a wedding. The enchantment continued when a stroke of luck added to the magic – a brief drizzle before guests arrived quickly cleared up, leaving behind a breathtaking April day for their rooftop wedding. The weather seemed to reflect the couple’s bright and promising future together, making the day even more special.
The bride and groom were absolutely thrilled with how the wedding design turned out. The result was a timeless and classic design that implemented personal accents that were special to Grace and Zach. Their beloved pup, Rumpington, was featured on cocktail napkins and the groom’s cuff links as he is so beloved by their friends and family, making our customized designs extra special! This helped create more of a personal and meaningful experience for family and friends.
Guests were thrilled when the incredible band, PDA, took the stage creating a packed dance floor that was lively throughout the night. The energy was contagious, with guests of all ages joining in, making it a night to remember for everyone present. As the evening drew to a close, it was time for the grand send-off. Everything came together seamlessly, leaving the couple and their loved ones with a perfect and unforgettable end to the festivities. The expressions on everyone’s faces said it all – it was a moment of pure happiness, marking the start of their journey as a newly married couple.
Throughout the entire planning process, Grace’s positivity and adaptability were an absolute delight to work with. Grace remained composed and open to new ideas, making the experience of organizing their wedding a joyous and collaborative one. As a planner, seeing the beaming smiles of the couple, their families, and friends brought an immense sense of fulfillment and meaning to the work I do. Every little detail, every carefully curated moment, and every thoughtful touch came together to create a day filled with love and cherished memories. Being a part of Grace and Zach’s big day was a true honor, as their love for one another runs deep and it was truly special to see this throughout every moment of the celebration.
XOXO,
Kelsey
