A little something blue and a whole lotta Texas for Brooke and Brooks’ wedding day! Getting to work closely with Brooke to bring their wedding dream to life was such a great experience. From prioritizing their guests’ experience and dancing to incorporating University of Texas elements, every planning detail was pure fun.

Brooke and Brooks began their wedding day surrounded by their closest friends and family. The ladies were pampered by the talented team at Adore Beauty before slipping into matching pajama sets for some must-have photos. Once everyone was ready, the bridesmaids and groomsmen made their way separately to Central Christian Church, where Brooke and Brooks shared an emotional first look. This heartfelt moment led into a meaningful gift exchange and a private vow reading, memories they will cherish forever.

When it was time to say “I do,” guests gathered inside the stunning Central Christian Church, where the altar was beautifully adorned with lush florals by Bouquets of Austin. Once officially married, Brooke and Brooks made their way with family and friends to Westwood Country Club to kick off the festivities. In true Texas fashion, the celebration began with a surprise appearance by Bevo himself. As a proud former UT Spur, Brooks couldn’t imagine the day without his alma mater’s beloved mascot there to share in the joy. Guests were delighted to pose for photos with Bevo before moving into a lively cocktail hour, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

As cocktail hour came to a close, guests headed in for dinner and dancing! Brooke, Brooks, and their loved ones quickly filled the dance floor, enjoying the amazing music provided by Marquise Jones. Guests also admired two stunning cakes, Brooke’s white and blue ombré floral design and Brooks’ UT Tower-inspired groom’s cake made by Rayne Desserts. Beside his cake sat playful custom figurines of Brooke in her Texas cheer uniform and Brooks in his Spurs getup. The joy and details of the day were beautifully captured by Ashley Stathes, preserving memories the couple will treasure forever.

Midway through the evening, Brooke and Brooks staged a faux sparkler send-off before hopping into Brooke’s late father’s cherry red Camaro for a joyride. With Brooke’s brother behind the wheel, it was a heartfelt moment that carried Bobby’s spirit along for the ride. While the couple enjoyed their cruise, guests were ushered back inside for an unforgettable after party. The grand finale featured CO₂ guns, Brooke’s sequin jumpsuit, and of course, oversized foam cowboy hats. It was the perfect finale to a day filled with love, joy, and celebration.

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect and spirited day for the Benkendorfers!
