Ali and Trevor’s wedding was truly one-of-a-kind! Horseshoe Bay Resort provided the perfect backdrop for their Tropical-Disco-inspired celebration. It was important to Ali and Trevor to honor Ali’s Hawaiian heritage by incorporating elements that paid homage to her family’s culture throughout the wedding. As guests arrived at Falls Point Lawn for the ceremony, they were greeted by the harmonious sound of Kainoa Kamaka, a native Hawaiian musician, strumming the Ukulele as they took their seats among the floral-lined aisle, complete with tropical white blooms and greenery such as orchids and palm leaves designed by Remi & Gold. The gazebo, overlooking Lake LBJ, was adorned with coordinating white tropical florals with greenery that climbed up the columns, creating the most romantic altar for Ali & Trevor to exchange their vows. The wedding party was dressed according to the theme, with the bridesmaids wearing varying shades of pink and green with tropical white bouquets and the groomsmen wearing white Hawaiian shirts with traditional Kukui nut leis. Surrounded by towering palms, the guests enjoyed watching the Hula Dancers as they performed alongside Kainoa’s enchanting melodies during cocktail hour.

Ali and Trevor’s vision was to transition from a more formal white and green color palette for the ceremony to a bright and vibrant Reception incorporating shades of pink, orange, and green, and adding disco balls among the decor. Inside the Tower Palm Pavillion hung a statement tropical chandelier incorporating birds of paradise, pink anthurium, and palm leaves with large disco balls sparkling in the twinkling lights over the head table. A variety of seating options were provided by Panacea, Loot Vintage Rentals, and Premiere Event Rentals for guests to enjoy an open seating format featuring standing gold & marble cocktail tables, tall white communal tables with barstools, seated round tables of varying sizes, and colorful pink and green lounges with gold & glass accent tables. Horseshoe Bay Resort worked with Ali & Trevor to create a Hawaiian-inspired menu featuring a suckling pig dinner station which was a hit among the guests. We repurposed the ceremony aisle arrangements, with the addition of small disco balls, in front of a large 22ft bar from Panacea which anchored the space, while a tropical greenery wall and custom Neon sign enhanced the backdrop for their unique green Wedding Cake and Longhorn inspired Groom’s Cake from Sweet Treets Bakery.

Everyone danced the night away on the dance floor by Center Stage Floors, where later Ali & Trevor enjoyed a romantic, private last dance. Emily Figurelli Photography & That’s Amore’ Films did an amazing job capturing the romance and happiness that surrounded the couple as they savored the final moments of their special day. Ali & Trevor ended the night by joining their wedding party, and together they jumped into the pool to celebrate the end of a truly unforgettable night, where fun was had by all and memories that will last a lifetime. We are so incredibly honored to be a part of such a magical day and can’t wait to share these details with you!

XOXO,

Courtney
