Commodore Perry
4/4/2025
Lisa and David Harris knew from the very beginning that they wanted a weekend centered around their closest friends and family. Not just a wedding day, but a full celebration where everyone could truly be present together. During one of our first planning conversations, Lake Como came up — that timeless, romantic atmosphere. They wanted something that carried that same feeling, but close to home. The answer was clear, Commodore Perry!
We reserved the entire property for the weekend so the only people on the grounds were their guests who flew in from all over. It created an intimate, private world where every moment felt intentional and shared.
The festivities began with a rehearsal dinner in the chapel. It was warm, meaningful, and filled with thoughtful touches that set the tone for what was ahead. After dinner, everyone headed to the Mansion for an after-party that quickly became a highlight of the weekend. A baby grand piano was brought in and stayed for the duration of the celebration. Dave is a gifted pianist, and throughout the weekend well known musicians filled the space with music. It became one of those elements guests kept talking about — elegant, unexpected, and unforgettable.
The florals by David Kurio pulled the entire vision together with lush arrangements that complemented the setting perfectly.
It was a weekend we’ll truly remember, and the wedding day was the grand finale. We can’t wait to share more next!
XOXO,
Becky
