Private Residence
05/10/2025
There is nothing I love more than a residence wedding. I think it’s so special to have a wedding at your home, and Nico and Grayson’s celebration was the perfect example. Their day began with a heartfelt ceremony at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Tarrytown, where Nico has attended her whole life. The reception took place just up the street at her parents’ house, adding a deeply personal and intimate touch to the entire celebration.
From the start, Nico envisioned a daytime wedding—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The noon ceremony was followed by a charming reception from 1 to 3 PM, featuring a curated brunch menu of the couple’s favorite bites. Thanks to Word of Mouth, part of the MML Hospitality family, guests enjoyed delicious offerings from beloved Austin staples like Sammie’s, Clark’s, Perla’s, Jeffrey’s, and more.
One of the many advantages of a private residence’s wedding is the flexibility with setup. We began load-in on Monday, with Premiere Events installing a custom platform over the pool, and David Kurio adding the perfect finishing touches with his gorgeous floral designs.
Every detail of this wedding reflected Nico and Grayson’s personalities and love story. It was a joy to plan and an honor to witness such a beautiful day come to life!
XOXO,
Becky
