The wedding of Emma and Nick was one that I will never forget! These two were so much fun to plan with, and I knew that the same exciting energy would fill the environment of their big day. When we first started working together, Emma and Nick knew that they wanted their guests to have a great time, but they also wanted a floral-filled party. So, of course, we enlisted the help of Blind Date to bring the fun, and Flora Fetish to bring the beauty!

I never tire of a classic wedding look, and bringing touches of blue into Emma and Nick’s day was the perfect addition. We focused on surrounding the dance floor with large, lush flowers on the head tables, the band stage, and of course with our stunning hanging floral structure. The blue and white dance floor as well as the dinner napkins from Table Manners tied everything together beautifully. The cherry on top were the flawlessly designed paper goods from Bryker Design Co.

Nick is a big soccer fan, so one of my favorite design elements was his amazing Austin FC jersey cake that was customized by Simon Lee Bakery. I love looking back on this wedding and remembering how inviting and intimate the space felt, even with almost 200 of Emma & Nick’s closest friends.

Emma and Nick danced the night away with their friends and family, sang an incredible amount of Taylor Swift lyrics (Cruel Summer – Emma’s Version), and succeeded in their goal of making it a beautiful and oh-so-fun evening. Cheers to ‘Love from Austin’ and forever happiness for The Dezsos!
