Margaret and Tim came into the planning process with Mattie’s selected as their venue, highlighting in our initial conversation that they fell in love with the oak trees surrounding Mattie’s and knew that it would be the perfect backdrop for their wedding. We started planning by shaping their design, focusing on enhancing Mattie’s with florals and creating a relaxed and welcoming wedding for the two of them to enjoy.

Guests were welcomed into the ceremony with the musical talent from Grace Youn with Moontower Entertainment playing upbeat electronic violin music. Their ceremony was filled with beautiful flowers exquisitely done by Earl Grey Floral that captured their mauve and dusty amber pallet which carried through the rest of their evening. The famous peacocks of Mattie’s also joined in on the ceremony, roaming through the guest chairs, and posing for portraits with our photographer Kelly with Tailor James Photography.

Cocktail hour was bustling with energy and flowing with cocktails. Friends and family roamed through the house and the front lawn finding shade under striped umbrellas to sip on their margaritas. Guests found seats for the reception on the lawn and inside the tent at the back of the property. Plenty of fabulous dinner options were presented as Mattie’s chef stations opened and guests filled their plates.

Dinner and dancing filled the rest of the evening for Margaret and Tim with Hot Sauce ATX taking the stage and creating lasting memories for the couple to sing and dance their hearts out all night. Both the bride and groom had their moment on stage, and were thrown into the air creating the most fun photos to look back on. Margaret and Tim were then sent off with white rose petals tossed over them into a family-owned vintage Scout, which happened to be the perfect something blue.

This day was filled with the most amazing families and friends coming together to celebrate. It was a wonderful experience designing and planning with Margaret and Tim, cheers to the happy couple!
