Gretchen and Samuel chose St. John Neumann Catholic Church for their ceremony space and Omni Barton Creek Resort for the reception with a design vision that left everyone wowed.
Inviting Pear created the perfect invitation suite that encapsulated the vision of the wedding day and design. Neutrals alongside gold and green touches provided a timeless and elegant tone for guests to precede the special day.
On the big day, Gretchen and Samuel radiated an inner calm and joy that resonated with everyone around them. Gretchen chose to get ready in her childhood bedroom, surrounded by her closest friends and bridesmaids. This intimate setting provided a nostalgic atmosphere, enhancing the sense of connection and love shared between friends. Gretchen wore a beautiful, elegant gown with delicate flowers imprinted in the fabric. Samuel dressed in a classic black-tie tux which perfectly complimented the details of Gretchen’s dress.
Amidst the city of Austin, St. John Neumann stands as a beacon of spiritual solace and community connection and hosts celebrations that foster a sense of belonging, creating cherished memories. The high ceilings and beautiful detailing of paintings and architecture allowed for the perfect space for Gretchen and Samuel’s ceremony. Adorned looks and smiles watched during the couple’s special moment.
As the guests moved into the reception space at Omni Creek, they were transported into a scene of rolling hills, lush greenery, and breathtaking views, creating an atmosphere of serenity and romance. The venue is nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, surrounded by beauty, luxury, and charm creating an enchanting and unforgettable evening. Ann Mark captured the elegant clear glassware, tall candles, gold-rimmed chargers, and pink and white florals accompanied with greenery, that detailed the tables. David Kurio’s floral arrangements took center stage, and compliments flooded in from every direction. The abundance of beautiful flowers not only delighted the eyes but also filled the air with irresistible fragrance.
Gretchen and Samuel’s love for fishing was intricately woven into their wedding day. A magnificent fish ice luge became a focal point, symbolizing shared passion and adding a unique touch to the decor. During the Best Man’s heartfelt speech, he humorously shared how the groom found his “cuttie” in Gretchen, referencing the popular Cutthroat Trout, beloved by fly fishers. Adding a personal element to the day allowed for an element of uniqueness that the couple surely won’t forget.
As guests explored the venue, they discovered delightful surprises throughout the night. A dedicated photo room with a photo booth, aptly named the “pink room,” provided a playful and interactive space for guests to capture memories. The gelato cart, with its delectable flavors, offered a sweet treat to compliment the love shared on the day. And, for those seeking a cozy ambiance, an outdoor fireplace provided the perfect spot to gather, share stories, and delight in the glowing evening.
As the day grew late, everyone enjoyed dancing to the live sound of Drywater Band until guests lined up to send the couple off. Flower petals flew around the couple as friends and family wished Gretchen and Samuel the best. Cowboy hats on heads and smiles on faces as the couple is off after a special night of celebration and love.
