It was such a blast being able to plan this caliber of a wedding with a traditional, yet modern feel. I couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out, and I wish I could do it over and over again!

Gabriella and Kevin are a very sweet couple that I had the pleasure to correspond with. Gaby had a specific vision for her wedding. It was important that we coordinated everything from beginning to end, tailoring all the small details to the couple, and ensuring that their wedding was special to them. They wanted everything to reflect their elegant taste while keeping it fun and unique.

In the beginning of our planning process, we focused on the stationary portion of the wedding (The Inviting Pear), and our efforts definitely paid off! It was a sophisticated and memorable stationary suite, which set the tone of the wedding.

The wedding day was very windy, so we ended up moving the ceremony inside the chapel at the last minute. The chuppah was a special addition for this wedding and they had real white orchids threaded together, to suspend inside the acrylic pieces. These graceful flowers (Bouquets of Austin) made for an incredibly dreamy backdrop to their ceremony.

Food (Crave Catering) was a featured component of their wedding. During cocktail hour, they offered passed appetizers, along with specialty cocktails. Guests were given a Don Julio bottle as their escort card, which they could take to a margarita bar and have, you guessed it, margaritas made out of it. Dinner was served in in the form of stations, and each station had a mini version of the station passed to the guests throughout the reception space. For late-night snacks, P. Terry’s was served with stickers of the couple’s monogram on the front of the bags. Along with this, Home Slice was passed in the original pizza box on the dance floor while guests were dancing the night away.

The groom’s side of the family is Brazilian, and they incorporated this into their food, drinks, and desserts. They even had the band play Bossa Nova during cocktail hour.

Several lounge sets (Perch Decor) were placed around the dance floor (Center Stage) for seating of younger guests during dinner and dancing. The band, Stratosphere from Dallas, created such a lively atmosphere! Later, the performers, Sofi Tukker, came out. This grammy nominated EDM duo is close friends of the couple, and they made the night unforgettable. Many guests ended up partying on stage with the newlyweds.

The couple’s send off was a surprise; they had no idea it was about to happen. They walked between glamorous, glittering pyros that lined the grand stairs, at the bottom of which they got into and departed in a vintage vehicle (ATX Classic Cars) as their friends and family watched with love.

Gaby and Kevin’s love for one another was very apparent throughout the wedding planning process, and especially on the day of the wedding. They are adorable together! I am honored to have had the opportunity to help bring this couple’s dream wedding to life. It is one that I, and I’m sure every guest of theirs, will never forget!
