Jenny Root is an absolute dream. She’s so calm, and kind, has such a laid-back demeanor, and she’s just so beautiful! Working with her was a pleasure. She knew exactly what she wanted for the wedding. We designed a tablescape of style shoot dreams by using multiple rental companies (Premiere, Marquee, Table Manners) to create her magical vision. It was all perfection.

Commodore Perry was the perfect venue for Jenny + Ty’s wedding.

Jenny began the big day by getting ready in the bridal suite with the most fairytale-like shade of pink. With hues of taupes, white, cream, and ivory, as well as a pop of pink, her bouquet from STEMS was simply stunning. It complimented her dress to create an image of pure elegance.

The ceremony took place on the South lawn behind the mansion at Commodore Perry. Guests were greeted with florals galore. Stems knocked it out of the park with all of her florals but honestly, that arch blew me away. It was spectacular! Lush but gardeny at the same time. One of the cutest aspects of Jenny and Ty’s ceremony was incorporating their pup! He’s so cute!

Plush chairs and shades of pinks gave the reception set-up the same elegant feel as Jenny’s bouquet. While it was still light out, everything about this space embodied true romance. Once the sun had set, the reception space was transformed with ambient lighting and glowing candlescapes from Ilios Lighting.

Guests enjoyed dinner in the sunken garden. Towards the end of dinner Jenny and Ty surprised their guests with an end of dinner toast and a sparkler party kick off. The couple invited guests into the Commodore Perry Chapel for an evening of dancing.

This wedding will always hold a special place in my heart. Jenny and Tyson, congratulations and thank you for working with us!!
