Happy 4th of July from Pearl Events Austin!

Who says you can only have fireworks/sparklers once a year on the 4th of July? Adding them to your wedding exit will make a bang and your guests will remember it forever! We wanted to share tips and tricks on how to incorporate these moments into your wedding to give your grand exit the spark it needs!

1. Sparkler Tip – When buying your sparklers for the grand exit, be sure to buy the 20” long sparklers. The larger sparklers have too long of a burn time, and the 20” sparklers burn for the perfect time for you to walk through and take your pictures! Here are the sparklers we recommend buying for our clients!

*Planner Pro Tip – Only buy sparklers for ⅔ of your guest count! We promise you will still have some leftovers and still have everything you need!

2. Sparkler Tip – Be sure to buy two sparkler buckets to fill with either sand or water for the end of your send-off! This prevents any accidents and an easy clean-up!

3. Firework Tip – Preselect the spot you and your partner will want to have your firework photos and where your guests will be standing to watch the show! Communicate with your planner/ photographer to make sure they get you and your guests in the right place!

4. Pyro Tip – When booking your pyro company, be sure to double-check that the company or yourself is responsible to obtain the permit for the city that your wedding is in. This is a very important step that needs to be taken early in your planning process!

5. Pyro Tip – Signing a permit for your pyro you will specify how you will be using the pyro on your special day, whether you will be using a car or golf cart and driving through or you will be walking through. Be thoughtful when you make this decision because when your permit is signed, you cannot change your mind!
